This Richard Aquamax réf 8827 from the year 1960 is a rare bird to say the least, the Legendary Aquamax diver as the name already reveals is a rather big waterproof dive watch. The steel compressor case messures in at a whooping 40mm (without the signed compressor crown). On the lightly patinated untouched black dial can we find a lot of  Radium aplied, this radioactive substance that gives light in the dark has turned to a caramel color over the years. The style that has been used on this dials is the indixies that are fully filled with radium giving optimal legibility at all time, the same goes to the use of the big arrow hour hand that is holding a lot of Radium. A Bidirectional bezel is a must have for any dive watch, this Aquamax has still the original bezel, even after almost 70 years of service!
 
The beating heart of this watch, an AS 1700 automatic. The movement has just been serviced by our talanted watchmaker, all functions work perfectly and comes with a 12 month guarentee!
